A sample of happenings at the Hall

Coffee Mornings

Every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 10 to 12am there is fresh brewed coffee and tea alongside mouthwatering savouries and sweets. It's free and easy like the conversations that we all love.

Arts & Crafts

There are monthly craft sessions led by some of the finest creators in the area. This very popular activity is a great example of how the hall is a centre for creativity in the community. Sometimes the relentless flow of creative content leads to an exhibition or two

Work Hub

It's a great place when you're working from home, but you you don't want to be home alone. The hall offers business class broadband and a warm quiet space to toil away in company. The kitchen is available to conjur up brunch or just a brew.

Quiz Nights

On the nights before the changing of the clocks we have our traditional quiz nights. These can be quite competitive and, let's say, lively affairs hosted by our veteran quizmaster Alan Beddis. If you're thinking of joining in book early, they're always over subscribed

Entertaining Events

There's no shortage of local talent when it comes to putting on a show. Music, poetry, yarning, exotic dance and mime are regularly on display. These usually include snacks or a buffet and are often free of charge!

Wine O' Clock

On the last Friday of each month there is an early evening gathering for socialising over a glass or two of wine maybe a beer or cider and some nibbles. All very civilised and in the best possible taste. And of course it comes with a regular reminder to drink responsibly, or else!
